This simple, yet tasty salmon fry is kids favorite healthy dish.
Could be served as a starter or a side dish for rice.

This simple, yet tasty salmon fry is kids favorite healthy dish. Could be served as a starter or a side dish for rice.
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 2 Salmon fillets (cut in half)
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- ½ tsp Chili Powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ Turmeric
- Juice of ½ Lemon
- Few Curry Leaves (chopped
- 2 tsp Oil
Instructions
- Wash salmon fillets using turmeric and salt. Pat dry & cut the fillets into half.
- In a bowl prepare marinade by mixing in salt, turmeric, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice.
- Coat the salmon pieces well on both side with marinade. Cover and refrigerate for only 15-30 mins(fish can develop an unpleasant texture during a lengthy marination process or flesh might go mushy)
- On a med-low flame, heat a tsp oil on a pan, place marinated fish pieces, drizzle a tsp oil on top & shallow fry on both sides. This might take 8-10 mins.
- On high flames add chopped curry leaves and roast the fish until golden brown.
- Garnish with onion rings and lemon wedges and serve as side dish with boiled rice.
- Pan-fried Salmon is Ready to Relish!!

Notes
- you could even bake the marinated fish for 15-18 mins in 350F preheated oven OR grill for about 5 mins on both sides.
- Check the doneness of your salmon with a fork. When the salmon flakes easily with a fork, it’s ready.
- Add more spices like garam masala while preparing marinade, if desired.
