Raita is a perfect-yogurt based cooling side dish for the spicy rice dishes, such as pulao, biryani or Indian bread.
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 1 cup Curd
- ½ cup Onion (finely chopped)
- few Coriander Leaves (finely chopped)
- ¼ cup Tomato (finely chopped)
- 1 Green Chili (finely chopped)
- ½ cup Cucumber (finely chopped)
- Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Chop all the veggies finely for making raita.
- Take curd in a bowl and whisk to a smooth consistency.
- Add onion, tomato, green chili, cucumber, salt & mix well.
- Serve Raita as a side dish for any flavored rice /Biryani/Pulao.
- Enjoy the Cool Raita!

Notes
- Skip adding green chili if making for kids, replace with white pepper powder/red chili powder for spiciness.
- Add half spoon of cumin/jeera powder for extra flavor.
